🐉 LexisNexis Dragons vs. NIC Leeds Rhinos (68 – 62)

The Verdict: Back-to-back wins for the Dragons, fueled by a brilliant display from their Welsh international stars.

  • Circle Shutdown: Welsh Feather Leah Middleton was a dominant force in the defensive circle. Her relentless pressure earned her six gains and the Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match honors.
  • Clutch Shooting: Fellow Welsh international Georgia Rowe turned the tide in the final quarter. Rowe shot a clinical 12 goals in just 15 minutes to break the game open, finishing with a match tally of 45 goals. This brings her season total to 291, placing her 5th overall in the league’s goal-scoring charts.

⚡ AO Manchester Thunder vs. London Pulse (64 – 52)

The Verdict: Thunder storms into second place after a heavyweight clash at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

  • Early Strike: Thunder suffocated Pulse early on, building a commanding 13-goal cushion by halftime. Despite a spirited second-half fightback from Pulse, Thunder held firm to claim maximum points.
  • Star Player: South African SPAR Protea Nicola Smith was the architect of the victory. She completely blanketed Pulse’s star-studded England Rose attacking line, collecting an incredible nine gains and seven interceptions to rightfully earn the Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match award.
